FPHC-CFLI INTERVENTION

The project seeks to address the gaps in the Health Care Services Delivery in the proposed geographical area, particularly focusing on women/girls and children. There are many obstacles/ barriers that the beneficiaries of this intervention face in accessing health care.

The main issues faced by the residents of the locality includes lack of knowledge and poor health-seeking behavior of the community; underdeveloped infrastructure of the Health Facilities especially in terms of equipment, supplies; lack of expertise/adequate training of the available health staff and lack of inter-departmental coordination.

The project will improve the health-seeking behavior of the community, build the capacity of the health staff and ensure the availability of MNCH and family planning services in the facilities. It will complement the effects of the Department of Health, Population Welfare Department and other stake holders to provide uninterrupted and quality services at the doorstep of the communities.
